According to ESPN, Louisiana State Police have issued a warrant for Lacy’s arrest. Allegations include Lacy causing a fatal crash due to reckless driving. The report also alleges that Lacy did not stop his vehicle after the accident, and also did not call authorities before allegedly driving off. The accident is said to have occurred on Dec. 17.
According to the reports, Lacy allegedly tried to bypass other cars by driving in a no-passing zone. Two cars on opposite sides of the highway allegedly swerved in opposite directions to avoid Lacy’s car. This is when both collided head-on with one another.
It’s too early to determine how this may or may not impact his draft stock — though odds are Lacy likely will float down toward the UDFA (undrafted free agent) grouping.
