Pacers Beat Bucks, 123-115 — Indiana Leads 2-0

The return of Damian Lillard didn’t result in a win for the 5-seed Milwaukee Bucks. Playing for the first time in over a month after dealing with a serious blood clot, Lillard scored 14 points on 4-of-13 from the field in 37 minutes. While Giannis Antetokounmpo (34 points, 18 rebounds, 7 assists) and Bobby Portis (28 points, 12 rebounds) had great games, the Bucks had no answers for the Pacers. Indiana never trailed and had six players finish in double-figures — including its entire starting lineup. The Bucks made a run in the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to just two points but managed to score just two points in the final 2:33 following Lillard’s three. Milwaukee hosts Game 3 on Friday.

Thunder Beat Grizzlies, 118-99 — Oklahoma City Leads 2-0

This series is over. Nobody gave the 8-seed Grizzlies a chance to beat the Thunder entering the playoffs, but their lack of competitiveness has been embarrassing. OKC trounced Memphis by 51 points, 131-80, in Game 1. Last night, the Thunder led by 15 after the first quarter and coasted the rest of the way en route to a 19-point win. Memphis’ biggest lead of the series is four points — it led 4-0 in Game 1 — and it hasn’t held a lead since the 6:38 mark of the first quarter in Game 1. OKC shot 43.3% from the field Tuesday night and it didn’t matter at all. At this point, Memphis pushing the series to a Game 5 would be a shocker.

Lakers Beat Wolves, 94-85 — Series Tied 1-1

Following Minnesota’s dominant win in Game 1, 3-seed Lakers faced a de facto must-win Tuesday night. Los Angeles started hot for a second game in a row, but this time it sustained its momentum for 12 minutes resulting in a 34-15 lead entering the second quarter. The Lakers’ lead grew to 22 points before halftime but a strong close for the Wolves cut the lead to 15 at the break. The second half was a slog for both teams — LA scored 36 points — and Minnesota had a few opportunities to get back into the game. However, LA’s defense kept the Wolves at bay and never its lead dip below nine points. Luka Doncic was the best player on the floor (31 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists). As for the Wolves, the 6-seed went 5-of-25 from three after making a franchise-high 21 threes in Game 1.
