Fasten your seatbelts.
A transcendent era of professional wrestling is upon us. The new wave of WWE programming will debut on Monday night and be streamed on Netflix. The first show in 2025 — RAW — will occur at the brand-new Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
The pageantry surrounding this show is palpable. It has the feel of a massive PLE (premium live event) — yet it’s still your standard weekly episode of RAW…along with some expected surprises.
Reports indicate that the show will run for three-and-a-half hours live on the streaming service. Marketing and promotions for this show have been drilled into the media world for months. Over the weekend, a drone show featuring the WWE’s iconic logo was splashed across the primary Netflix building in Hollywood.
The show itself figures to be highly entertaining. The red-hot rivalry between CM Punk and Seth Rollins will be taken to another level Monday evening as they go toe-to-toe in front of a reported sellout crowd. John Cena will be back to kick off what is being billed as his farewell tour as a professional wrestler.
A vicious Tribal Combat match will take place between heel Solo Sikoa and the suddenly-over Roman Reigns. Logan Paul reportedly will be present at the event in some capacity. Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre will square off against one another. The loaded card also includes Liv Morgan defending the Women’s World Championship versus Rhea Ripley.
With the show being constructed as a true spectacle, there will be no shortage of entertainment elements. Travis Scott will reportedly perform the new theme song of the program live. Hulk Hogan is rumored to be involved in some capacity — as has Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, and Bianca Belair. Lastly, it’s a strong bet we will see The Rock in some capacity.
The event will kick off at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
