The NFL announced its rosters for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Thursday. The AFC is led by three elite quarterbacks in the MVP conversation — Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson, Buffalo’s Josh Allen, and Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow. Jackson is joined by eight of his Ravens teammates, giving Baltimore the most Pro Bowl selections of any team.
For the first time since becoming a starter, Patrick Mahomes was not named a Pro Bowler. He’s in the midst of his worst individual regular season of his career and broke a streak of six straight Pro Bowl appearances. Teammate Travis Kelce extended his run with a 10th straight selection. Kelce and Las Vegas Raiders rookie Brock Bowers earned the two TE spots on the AFC team.
The NFC has two quarterbacks making their first Pro Bowl appearance. Minnesota’s Sam Darnold has been rewarded for his breakout season with the Vikings. He’ll be joined by Washington rookie Jayden Daniels, who is the favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year. The most decorated QB in the trio is Jared Goff who is making his fourth Pro Bowl appearance. Goff is one of seven Detroit Lions to make the roster.
Detroit leads the way with Pro Bowl selections in the NFC, and the Vikings and Eagles are right behind with six selections apiece. Minnesota’s offseason proved to be a coup. Darnold, Jonathan Greenard, and Andrew Van Ginkel are all first-year Vikings who will represent the team at the Pro Bowl.
Four running backs who joined new teams in the offseason made the roster. Baltimore’s Derrick Henry, Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley, Green Bay’s Josh Jacobs, and Houston’s Joe Mixon had big impacts in their first year with new clubs. The other two running backs that made the cut are still with the teams that drafted them — Indianapolis’ Jonathan Taylor and Detroit’s Jahmyr Gibbs.
The Dallas Cowboys have already been eliminated from playoff contention but will have five representatives ready to go at the Pro Bowl. The group includes star edge rusher Micah Parsons, kicker Brandon Aubrey, and return man KaVontae Turpin.
Six teams had exactly one selection — Bears (Jaylen Johnson), Giants (Dexter Lawrence), Rams (Jared Verse), Panthers (Jaycee Horn), Patriots (Brenden Schooler), and Seahawks (Devon Witherspoon). The Dolphins, Jets, Titans, and Saints were the only teams with zero Pro Bowlers.
With the NFL changing the Pro Bowl format three seasons ago, the players will no longer partake in a full-contact game. Instead, they’ll participate in various challenges and contests before competing in a 7-on-7 flag football matchup. Peyton Manning will serve as coach of the AFC while his brother Eli Manning will coach the NFC. The full rosters are listed below.
