DeAndre Hopkins is a Kansas City Chief. Early Wednesday morning, the Kansas City Chiefs acquired Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a conditional fourth-round pick.
In his 12th season, Hopkins is no longer an elite receiver but he should provide a boost for the back-to-back Super Bowl champs. Hopkins signed with the Titans in July 2023 and is currently in the final year of his deal. The former Titan tore his MCL in the offseason but was able to suit up for Tennessee to start the season.
For Kansas City, Hopkins will help fill the void left by injuries to star wideout Rashee Rice, Marquise “Hollywood” Brown — who are both out for the season — and JuJu Smith-Schuster who suffered a hamstring injury last week. In six games with the Titans this season, Hopkins had 15 receptions for 173 yards and one touchdown.
Hopkins is a three-time First-Team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler.
